It is a fact that an estimated 10,000 women, men, and children
are homeless in the King and Snohomish Counties.

Street Ministry

Did you know that in 2002 according to the Washington State Emergency Shelter Assistance Program 30,630 homeless households were sheltered in 167 shelter programs located in all 39 Washington Counties? Also, 1,213.897 bed nights were provided to 46,626 homeless. And 25,161 of the 46,626 homeless people sheltered were under the age of 18; 5,900 were age 5 or younger. Homeless people were turned away form shelters 81,610 times. Homeless families with children were turned away from shelter 41,681 times. It is evident that we have a major crisis of homelessness in Washington State.

Our Mission is to meet the needs of the Washington States homeless population and low-income population, which includes ministering to their spiritual needs, provide clothing, housing and food vouchers, community resource information and HIV/AIDS prevention materials.

Since 2001, Gerald Osborne and a group of volunteers in downtown Seattle have led Street Ministry Services between 1st & 2nd Pike. They have ministered and met the needs of 1,000 homeless men, women, and youth.

Our ultimate goal is to establish a transitional facility with a resource center for the homeless adults and families in the Seattle/King County area. We would provide substance abuse counseling, employment assistance, job readiness, computer training, financial budgeting classes, credit management classes, home buyer seminars.

Music/Art Ministry

Our Mission is to provide encouraging spiritual music to the general public and religious organizations. We will achieve this by performing at prisons, parks, benefits, festivals, gospel concerts, musical plays, and other events throughout the State of Washington.

The Music ministry is free to both the general public and religious organizations; but we do accept donations. We will audition local volunteer artists to send out to perform for our events. Volunteers from the general public, religious organizations, and hired musicians will be involved in providing and conducting music to the communities.

Our ultimate goal is to cultivate the gifts and talents of young artists in our communities. We hope to achieve this by having a facility were youth can come enhance their gifts through writing poetry, songs, lyrics, musical plays, voice lessons, music lessons, studio engineering and recording. We will have a group of professionals teaching youth how to achieve their dreams of becoming an artist.
